Dr. Damien Dauphinée

Damien M. Dauphinée, DPM, FACFAS, FAENS, FACCWS, CWS-P, is board certified in Foot Surgery and Reconstructive Rearfoot and Ankle Surgery by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery. He is also board certified in Wound Management by the American Board of Wound Management. Dr. Dauphinée has a special interest in reconstructive foot and ankle surgery and trauma, as well as peripheral nerve injuries. He is a current Fellow and former President of the Association of Extremity Nerve Surgeons in 2009. Dr. Dauphinée serves as faculty for the AENS Fundamental and Advanced Peripheral Nerve workshops, training surgeons to treat a variety of peripheral nerve pathology.

Dr. Dauphinée completed a mini-fellowship in external fixation techniques at the Russian ILIZAROV Scientific Centre for Restorative Traumatology and Orthopaedics (RISC-RTO) in Kurgan, Russia, using those techniques as Medical Director of Limb Preservation for the Wise Healing Center in Denton, TX. He was awarded the Young Practitioner of the Year by the Texas Podiatric Medical Association in 2005 and received the Merit Award in 2008 for service to the Association. Dr. Dauphinée lectures nationally and internationally on the subjects of diabetic limb salvage, hyperbaric oxygen therapy for chronic wounds, and peripheral nerve pathology and treatment.

Little Known Facts:

Dr. Dauphinée is a Tough Mudder (www.toughmudder.com) completing the Austin race in 2012 in about 3.5 hours (with two broken ribs) and lived to tell about it. He also is a Hollywood actor per his cinematic debut in the role of “Cabrito Cook” in the Robert Rodriguez film "Machete Kills" which opened in theaters nationwide on October 11th, 2013. The film stars Danny Trejo, Jessica Alba, Lady Gaga, Sophia Vergara, Michelle Rodriquez, Mel Gibson, Carlos Estevez (Charlie Sheen), Antonio Banderas, Amber Heard and Demian Bechir.

Dr. Raafae Hussain

Raafae M. Hussain, DPM is a comprehensive foot and ankle surgeon. His studies began at the University of Hartford where he earned his bachelor of science degree. Upon developing an interest in sports medicine and bone deformity, he then went on to obtain a Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine at the New York College of Podiatric Medicine.

Dr. Hussain's credentials include Residency/Fellowship instruction by some of the nation's most distinguished foot and ankle specialists. His training includes Residency at the DVA Northport Medical Center, Northport (NY), Residency at the University General Hospital, Houston (TX), and Fellowship in Podiatric Research at the University of Pennsylvania Hospital (PA).

Dr. Hussain is a contributing author to clinical research and medical textbook publications. He is highly knowledgeable and skilled in advanced treatment options. His expertise in podiatric medicine coupled with exceptional care and compassion for patients are exemplary. Dr. Hussain ascribes to the simple philosophy that each patient is unique, and deserving of individualized, attentive, and personable care.
